3 months from now

So I posted some goals for 1 year from now, but now it’s time to make some more reachable short term goals. In the next three months I plan to have flipped my world upside down and here are a few ways I plan to do that…

-Move out of my house
-Secure a new awesome career
-Be able to do 5 pull-ups (BY MYSELF :) )
-Set a new PR mile time (7:30)
-Buy a new freaking iPhone
-Successfully plan a bachelorette party for my frannn <3
-Organize my damn Pinterest
-Delete every email/file that I no longer need on my computer (it’s hard for me to part with anything)

That’s a start. I’m sure i’ll come up with more later. For now, here’s how I feel about life right now.

GHF Pool Party
It’s hard when you have worked for a company for almost 6 years, and been with certain friends for almost as long, to think about moving on to somewhere new. I know that whatever is ahead of me will be absolutely worth it, but these people have made the last 6 years worth it.

Memorial Day…

I could go on for days about the all wonderful things I learned while I was in Israel, but one of the most powerful was the importance of Memorial Day. It means something different to each person, but in Israel I learned to really appreciate that Memorial Day is not just for beaches and BBQs.

My Grandpa Paul was in the U.S. Military and even though I only knew him for a few months of my life I am so proud of all that he did and all that he sacrificed for our country.

Let’s all remember those that we have lost and those that are still risking their lives for our country.

1 year from now…

I’m stealing this idea from my beautiful blonde friend Meaghan and starting to list my goals for the next year here. Some work related, some just fun for me, but I want to keep a running list here to try and keep me motivated. Almost like writing it on your mirror to remind you, but instead out on the internet for all to see :)

-Run a half marathon with one of my bff’s Samantha
-Move to a new city
-Move to a new state maybe?!?
-Step out of my comfort zone
-Keep up with my spanish and actually become conversational
-Be the best Maid of Honor I can be in November
-Staff Birthright?!?

This is just the beginning. I will add and cross out as time allows, but this is where I’ll begin <3

So any of you that know me, even just a little, know that UF Hillel has a big place in my heart. This building, the people and everything I learned in the last two years there seriously shaped my life. I grew professionally, religiously, spirtualy and emotionally. It’s kind of amazing that one place can do all that. One of the big things I did for them was contributing to their blog. For all my posts for the past two years click here.

Welcome welcome welcome

I blog for my internship, I pin, I tweet, I post…finally, it’s time to start something for me. My journey is just about to begin and I plan to chronicle it here. Videos, photos, quotes, all things that inspire me and I hope will inspire you too. Stick around, it’s only the beginning.
